Principal's Message

Welcome to the website for Warren East Middle School. WE are committed to our students, our families, and each other and everything we do at WEMS is done with the goal of helping our students be successful academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.  The third quarter of the school year tends to be a unique struggle for students, families, and schools alike for a wide range of reasons.  We encourage everyone to be supportive of one another, focused on the things that matter first and foremost, working hard to be successful, and communicating with us so we know how we can be of help and service.

As we go through the third quarter, inclement weather is always a possibility.  When necessary, our school district uses NTI Days whereby we meet with students on a set schedule by way of Google Meets.  Please pay special attention to the weather conditions as well as school and district communications regarding any of these situations.  We also want to share that throughout the school year, we encourage all of our students to come to ESS for extra tutoring and academic support.  7th Grade ESS is on Tuesdays and 8th Grade ESS is on Thursdays.  On both days, tutoring is in the Library from 2:30-3:30 and transportation must be provided by parents.

Thank you to our parents and community members for your continued support.  Please let us know if we can ever be of help to you.

Thank you,

Jonathan Vaughn, Principal
